In addition to her corporate work, Emily leads programs for organizational effectiveness with select non-profits and entrepreneurs.
The power of the programs Emily designs lies in her ability to maximize the individuals’ experiences and learning on the job. Her focus and experience in action learning is unique, and at the core of her work.
In Washington, DC she helped to fine-tune cross cultural communication skills of senior international executives, negotiating on behalf of their governments and testifying before congress on the laws affecting their industries. She has extended her work outside the private sector to include leadership coaching for the federal government.
Lasting Changes
Neustadt's leadership consulting, negotiation and influencing skills programs have been successfully utilized by major financial services, television and music companies. The dynamic, interactive training experience emphasizes the practical, business-use of the skills taught, and where possible, builds one-on-one or group coaching into the design of the programs. The learning retention rate dramatically increases and participants are able to make significant, lasting changes.

A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, Emily has also studied at Harvard and the New School University. She is trained in the systems approach, and appears regularly as a guest lecturer and panelist for New York University, Columbia University, Polytechnic University and has been on National Public Radio and NYC stations, and is sought out to speak at professional organizations and corporate events.
Making the world a better place
Neustadt Consulting donates when possible, workshops, consulting and coaching to people who may not be able to hire us. We've worked for many years helping those returning to work after long term illness, provided work readiness training to recipients of children's charities aging out of foster care and into the work force. We worked to lower the ambient noise levels in hospitals by facilitating the adoption of use of headphones in hospitals. On years we can't spare the days we use a cash equivalent, building a low masonary wall to protect a tree in New York city, or donating to causes we believe in.
